Operating in the Midst of COVID-19

Hello everyone!

The last few months have been a trying time for everyone.

However, there is good news! 😊

Governor Hogan has recently allowed for the re-opening of medical practices to perform elective and non-urgent medical/dental procedures. Practices such as ours are allowed to start performing dental procedures and consultations again.

In order to comply with Maryland's Board of Physician requirements we will have to implement the following actions:

1. Face Masks will be required for all staff and patients. Patients will be required to have the face mask on all the time except when treatment is being performed.

2. Social Distancing requirements will be strictly maintained particularly in waiting/checkout areas. No patients or family members will be allowed to sit in the waiting area or treatment room with patients.

3. All staff and patients will be screened for COVID-19 upon arrival. This entails having your temperature taken and asked a series of questions regarding possible exposure to COVID-19 as well as any recent illnesses and your travel history.

4. Patients and staff that have any COVID-19 symptoms (even if they are due to allergies or other infection) will be asked to reschedule and to see their Primary Care Physician and have appropriate testing before any rescheduled appointments.

5. We will implement enhanced workplace infection control measures in accordance with CDC guidelines. This means that staff and patients will wear face masks and rooms will be properly disinfected prior to the patients’ arrival.

6. We have submitted our certification with the State of Maryland demonstrating our requirements for PPE for staff and patients.

Our office door will be locked; upon your arrival, please call the office and a staff member will check you in and perform the COVID -19 screening. We will call you when we are ready to have you seated and start your treatment.

Each Doctor will only be scheduling 1 patient at a time.

Please call us if you have any questions 301-474-1110

Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this difficult time.
