5 Foods to Avoid

Some foods are always better than others especially when it comes to your teeth! Here are 5 foods you should avoid!

1) Limit your caffeine intake!
    If you have too much coffee or tea, it can dry out your mouth. While you don't need to cut either out, make sure to hydrate!
2) Avoiding hard candies
    While jolly ranchers and lollipops are very yummy to snack on, they can cause cracks/fractures in your teeth as well as have a higher sugar content! 
3) Don't chew ice cubes!
    Avoid chewing on ice cubes as it can harm your teeth. Instead, opt for a cold glass of water! 
4) Say goodbye to sugary tricks!
    Sodas, energy drinks, and sports drinks can all damage your smile. These drinks are both acidic and can cause plaque to build up. 
5) Skip the chips
    Salty chips leave a lot of starch in between your teeth. Opt for low-sodium popcorn or try to floss regularly to avoid build-up.
