Flossing Methods

 Flossing is important to remove debris that sticks to teeth between the teeth and under gums, polish tooth surfaces, and control bad breath. It is important to brush 2-3 minutes a day. 

Types of dental floss:

  • Waxed and unwaxed
  • Flavored and unflavored
  • Wide and regular
  • Textured and smooth
Flossing Methods:
  • Spool method (finger wrap method)
  • Loop method (circle method)
